The Oakridge School field at 320 Calero Ave. in San Jose, has two pitches, used by U9, U10 and U11 rec and comp teams. The same pitches are also used for practices by teams up to the age of U12 teams.

 A  Oakridge Pitch 1: Pitch 1 is close to the street.
 B  Oakridge Pitch 2: Pitch 2 is at the fence close to the storage container.

Practice Fields:

 1  Oakridge Pitch 1 North: Northern half of pitch 1 which is close to the street
 2  Oakridge Pitch 1 South: Southern half of pitch 1 which is close to the street.
 3  Oakridge Pitch 2 East: Eastern half of pitch 2 which is at the fence close to the storage container.
 4  Oakridge Pitch 2 West: Western part of pitch 2 which is at the fence close to the storage container.
 5  Oakridge Pitch 3: Pitch 3 is west of pitch 2 close to the portable class room.

Field Setup

  • unlock goals and container
  • install portable goals
  • nets remain attached to the portable goals
  • put trashcans out
  • install corner flag

Field Takedown

  • move goals back near the storage container they will be locked by the field coordinator
  • nets remain attached to goal
  • field coordinators will secure equipment just leave it near the storage container
  • collect trash and litter
  • put trashcans back into storage box
  • collect corner flags and put them into storage container

Field Maintenance

The FC is at Oakridge every Friday from 4:30 to 6:00 to open and close the shed to access the paint and marking equipment. Teams that cannot make it on Friday need to e-email the FC ahead of time to make other arrangements. Fields have to be marked! Field maintenance on this field is usually done on Friday.
