Coaches,

It looks like the rules have changed again. U9 thru U11 teams can have up to 18 players on their rosters. However you can only roster
14 on game day. I don't recommend you go over the 14 players though. Not fair to players to be at practice, pay same costs and not be able
to play in games because they are the 15th player. The ccsl website will not allow you to put more than 14 players on the game card.

Teams age U12 - U15 class 1 and 3 teams roster size is limited to 18.
Teams age U16 and above roster size is limited to 22. 18 on game day max.

Any questions please let me know.

Thanks,
Rosemary

All - This email summarizes important rules changes regarding allowable roster size for u8-u11 teams as well as Far West Regional League qualify teams for CYSA Cups. Please distribute to your teams.

Roster size: rules change allows u8-11 teams to roster 18 players with 14 players allowed on the match roster.

     1. Per CYSA PIM 10-01.5.b.1: Maximum roster: For Division 1, Division 3 and Division 4 Under 15 and younger teams, the team roster may not have more than eighteen (18) registered players on the team roster at any given time during the seasonal year. For Division 1, Division 3 and Division 4 Under 16 and older teams, the roster may have up to twenty-two (22) registered players on the team roster at any given time during the seasonal year. All other teams may have no more than eighteen (18) registered players on the team roster at any given time. (Rev. 09/2010)

     2. Per CCSL Article III.H Maximum Match Roster for 8v8 teams is 14

Far West Regional League: The Far West Regional League - Fall is now a CYSA sanctioned league, allowing teams that play in this league to qualify for the CYSA Cups (state, presidents, association). Play in another CYSA league (eg. CCSL) is not required for teams playing FWRL.
