Hi fellow coaches....me again... 



I want to start by thanking everyone for turning in your coach's applications. I am working on approving the coaches for 2012 and will update you as these are completed. 



I would like to invite you all to our First Coaches meeting for the new season. 



This is a very important meeting as we will discuss many key issues for U9-U14 in 2012. 

Currently on the agenda: 



2012 Tryout process 

   Tryouts are scheduled for Dec. 3, 4, &10 

   Coach participation is mandatory 

   New for 2012--Player evaluations 

    Players will have numbers and a skills evaluation by all coaches in the age group  



Comp Program discussions for parents at all age groups 

   Led by coaches/assistants/team managers DURING try outs 

   Emphasis on educating parents and players 

   



2012 SSJYSL Player Evaluation Process

   League wide adoption of the evaluation software 

   Coaches will all have logins and an easy way to evaluate players 

   Better communication with our players/parents on comp expectations 



2012 Coaching Courses 

   Scheduling for Jan/Feb 

   F, E, E/D license classes 

   Review the CYSA License requirements by age groups 



2012 Team Formation guidelines 

   New Comp Tier structure for forming NEW teams (age Pure) 

   U9 teams will be put together by coaches and league officials 

   Each year the new teams will follow this new tiering structure 

   Field more competitive teams & keep the parent coaching philosophy 

    

We have allot to discuss and review for the upcoming try outs, please arrive on time.

It is that time of the year again and we begin to accept coaches application for Competitive Soccer, Age Groups U9 to U14, Fall 2012.  If you are new to competitive soccer and would like to coach a competitive team U9 to U14 in Fall 2012, we invite you to fill out an application at the link below.  If you coach in 2011, and would like to continue, please also fill out an application.  Please see the attached, tentative calendar for coaches evaluation, approval, and tryout information .
