Did you know that a growing child’s feet can grow up to 3 inches in one year? Sometimes it’s only an inch, but if your child is between the ages of 6-8 or 11-13, chances are the natural growth spurt of your child will cause them to wear more than one size shoe throughout the year. As the Fall soccer season is just around the corner, the SSJYSL has decided to address this issue of rapid foot growth for the second year at Opening Day. Bring your old cleats to exchange for others’ outgrowns and together as a league, we can save families from purchasing brand new cleats for every child every year.
Here’s how it works:
If you have old cleats that are too small but are still in good condition, put them in a plastic grocery bag, mark the size on the outside of the bag, and bring them by the table and donate them to the exchange. If you need a new size and that size is available, you may take the new size for free!
See you at Opening Day,
